Crab roe noodles, our signature dish, cost over 100 yuan per serving, and the portion is super large. I suggest that if you want to have lunch, you should have half a bowl per person. Eating too much will easily make you feel greasy, so I suggest that you use less sauce and use orange juice to relieve the greasiness.

I originally planned to walk around the old street, but my stomach was not so strong, so I accidentally went to a Suzhou-style noodle restaurant. It turned out to be a famous restaurant with perfect taste, chewy noodles, fragrant and delicious dishes, good tea and a great environment.

A great place to enjoy Suzhou noodles, authentic local cuisine that will tantalize your taste buds... The noodles, side dishes, and toppings are all plentiful and diverse. The braised pork is only available during this time of year... It's usually crowded with long queues. A local colleague gave me a tip: call the restaurant directly to make a reservation and pay a 90 RMB tea fee to upgrade to a private room. It's spacious, comfortable, and quick... The tea fee doesn't have to be for hot tea; in the summer, you can get their homemade plum juice, which is delicious and refreshing!

Tong De Xing is a renowned Suzhou noodle shop, boasting a century-long tradition and unwavering flavor. The noodles are chewy and refreshing, and the broth is delicious. Their signature "Aozao Noodles" are especially delicious, boasting a rich yet non-greasy sauce, imbued with the flavors of the Jiangnan region. While not luxurious, the setting is clean and tidy, imbued with a homely atmosphere, and the service is enthusiastic. The long queues of locals every time I visit at Tong De Xing speak volumes about its popularity. Whether you're a tourist or a local, it's a must-try for a bowl of authentic Suzhou-style noodles and a taste of the authentic Suzhou cuisine.

I went on a Sunday at 1:30 PM and was able to get in without having to wait in line. Go to the second floor → They'll give you a menu, so write it down on a piece of paper → Hand the menu to the staff → Pay with WeChat. It seems they don't accept Alipay. I'm so glad I had WeChat installed. It was written in Chinese, so I couldn't understand anything, but a staff member came over and explained it to me. They seemed to understand a little English. I'm not very good at English, but I managed to understand. It's so nice when someone understands me like that. I asked for a recommendation and they asked me if I like noodles, and when I said yes, they wrote down white salt ramen, pork, and vegetables (bok choy?). It's delicious. The soup is great. This soup is also delicious when stir-fried with vegetables. The noodles are soft and quite filling. The pork is tender and smooth. All of this came to 38 RMB. That's a bargain considering the quality.

Hidden, off a main road. Fantastic noodles, soup base & a pork that melts in your mouth. I can eat this everyday. Good service

The go to place for Suzhou style noodle. In fall there are also crab meat dry noodles which is also very good.
